DOWNTOWN — Residents can be taught extra a couple of proposal to reseed Washington Sq. Park at a neighborhood assembly Wednesday night time.
The assembly will likely be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday on the Newberry Library, 60 W. Walton St., and is being hosted by the Washington Sq. Park Advisory Council, in accordance with flyers posted on the park.
The council will focus on a proposal to aerate and reseed all 4 quadrants of the practically three-acre park at 901 N. Clark St. Throughout that point, all grassy areas can be fenced off and inaccessible from September by way of spring, in accordance with the flyer.
“The aim in doing that is to revive and beautify the park’s grassy areas,” the flyer states.
Representatives from the Chicago Park District and Ald. Brian Hopkins’ 2nd Ward workplace are anticipated to attend the assembly to reply questions.
