A religion group in Chicago’s Ukrainian Village is devastated after the spouse of a former priest was killed by a hit-and-run driver.
At St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral on Friday night time, prayers had been stated for 66-year-old Halyna Hudzan, who was struck and killed on Friday. Hudzan was lively within the choir and volunteered at parish dinners, mates and parishioners said.
Chicago police stated she was in a crosswalk close to Oakley and Superior streets at round 9 a.m. when a driver making a flip ran her over and did not cease.
