PORTAGE, Ind. – The physique of a lacking angler was recovered from Lake Michigan in northwest Indiana on Monday afternoon.

Authorities stated 67-year-old Michael Barnes disappeared beneath the floor of the water round 11:30 a.m. whereas attempting to retrieve his drifting boat close to Burns Ditch, in response to Indiana conservation officers.
