One 12 months later, Chicago police honor Officer Luis Huesca at memorial roll name


One 12 months after his tragic dying, Officer Luis Huesca was remembered Monday by fellow officers, metropolis leaders, and relations throughout a memorial ceremony at Gold Star Households and Memorial Park.

On April 21, 2024, Huesca was shot and killed throughout a carjacking exterior his dwelling within the Gage Park neighborhood. He was 33 years previous and had served with the Chicago Police Division for six years.
