LOOP — Chicago-area residents converged on the Loop on Saturday to protest Donald Trump’s administration, in Chicago’s largest entry within the second nationwide No Kings rally.
Individuals draped within the American Flag joined others carrying a large copy of the U.S. Structure, as sign-carrying demonstrators mingled with these dressed as Santa Claus and in tyrannosaurus rex, axolotl and hen costumes.
Organizers estimated a crowd of 250,000 individuals. Chicago police stated there have been no arrests on the rally at Butler Area in Grant Park or in the course of the subsequent march by the Loop that turned again to Grant Park after taking Wacker Drive to move Trump Tower on the opposite facet of the Chicago River.
