Chicago’s common free film and live performance collection in Millennium Park will return this summer season, with a June 26 live performance headlined by California trio Thee Sacred Souls, town’s Division of Cultural Affairs and Particular Occasions mentioned Thursday.
Live performance highlights embody soul violinist Sudan Archives, who carried out at Pitchfork in 2024 and can headline Millennium Park June 30, and seminal hip-hop group the Digable Planets, who carry out July 17. Native indie rockers Horsegirl will headline July 28.

Chicago’s common outside movie collection will kick off July 1 with a screening of the baseball movie “The Sandlot. Academy Award winner “Depraved” will be featured Aug. 12.
