FULTON MARKET — The extremely anticipated Milk Bar will formally open 10 a.m. Feb. 8 in Fulton Market.
The dessert store, based by New York Metropolis pastry chef Christina Tosi, introduced in October it was partnering with Chicago’s Boka Restaurant Group to open its first Midwestern location on the primary flooring of The Hoxton lodge, 200 N. Inexperienced St.
The primary 50 clients within the door on opening day will obtain a signed copy of Tosi and co-author Shannon Salzano’s guide, “Bake Membership: 101 Should-Have Strikes for Your Kitchen.”
Prospects will be capable of store Milk Bar classics and some Chicago-specific specials, together with a savory, pastry-wrapped Sizzling Canine Bomb “run by the backyard” and a “decadent Portillo’s Chocolate Cake Cookie,” in response to a press launch.
The opening menu can even characteristic Milk Bar’s winter specials, together with pink velvet cheesecake cake, pink velvet cake truffles and Pancake Comfortable Serve. Milk Bar signatures like its Cereal Milk Comfortable Serve, Compost Cookies and Cornflake Chocolate Chip Marshmallow Cookies can even be out there.
Chicago’s Milk Bar will likely be open 8 a.m.-11 p.m. Monday-Thursday and eight a.m.-1 a.m. Friday-Sunday.
