LAKEVIEW — The LGBTQ+ group is mourning the lack of Brendan Siddall, a 26-year-old performer and chief with the Chicago Homosexual Males’s Refrain who was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Lakeview over the weekend.
Siddall was strolling throughout the northbound lanes of DuSable Lake Shore Drive round 3:30 a.m. Saturday after they had been struck by a white 2019 Honda Accord, in accordance with police.
Officers discovered Siddall unresponsive close to the road within the 3600 block of North Lake Shore Drive. Siddall was pronounced lifeless on the scene, police stated. The motive force didn’t cease after the crash and continued north, police stated.
Siddall, who joined the Chicago Homosexual Males’s Refrain in 2018, was remembered by the group as a gifted performer and devoted group member who made a long-lasting influence.
