The Gurnee Police Division introduced Monday expenses have been authorised for a highway rage incident that led to a Southern Illinois College scholar’s demise in 2021.
Officers stated the 22-year-old scholar, Daniel Lobo, was residence for Thanksgiving break when he was shot simply after 12 a.m. Nov. 20, 2021.
In response to police, the incident occurred on the intersection of Waveland Avenue and Grandview Avenue in Gurnee.
Police stated a highway rage confrontation occurred between the 2 autos, which escalated when one individual exited their automobile and opened fireplace.
Lobo was a passenger within the different automobile. He was shot within the again and later died at Vista East Medical Heart in Waukegan, in response to police.
Initially from Waukegan, Lobo was set to graduate from SIU later that spring.
