Columbia Faculty Chicago has laid off 20 full-time college members as a part of deliberate cuts to tutorial packages, the downtown artwork faculty introduced this week.
The layoffs are the most recent in a sequence of cuts the varsity has made to programming and staffing in an try and plug the $38 million price range deficit. Seventy staffers had been laid off in Might 2024. In September, the varsity minimize 18 “underperforming” majors.
