CHICAGO (WLS) — The Chicago Hearth Division battled an extra-alarm hearth on the West Aspect Wednesday morning.
Smoke and flames raged out of an industrial constructing on Lake Road within the metropolis’s Austin neighborhood.

Almost 130 Chicago firefighters from throughout the town had been introduced in to battle the extra-alarm inferno.
“Our first arriving firms did what we name set the stage,” CFD District Chief Shun Haynes stated. “They did an excellent job of setting the stage – permitting us to get out tower ladders in place after which positioning our engine firms coming from the east and coming from the west.”
