CARPENTERSVILLE, In poor health. – A Carpentersville man faces felony costs of felony sexual assault and manufacturing baby pornography, Kane County authorities introduced Monday.
Federico A. Vega, Jr., 23, is charged with three counts of producing baby pornography, one depend of felony sexual assault, eight counts of possessing baby pornography and three counts of felony sexual abuse, in accordance with the Kane County Lawyer’s Workplace.
The backstory:
In 2017, Vega allegedly sexually assaulted a sleeping sufferer who was below the age of 13. On the time of the alleged assault, Vega was below 17, in accordance with the state’s legal professional. Between March 8, 2024, and April 23, 2025, Vega possessed a number of pictures and movies of kid sexual abuse materials.
Vega was arrested on April 29 in North Carolina and is presently being held within the Craven County Sheriff’s Workplace in New Bern, N.C., awaiting extradition to Illinois. His subsequent courtroom look has not but been scheduled.
