A medical helicopter in southeastern Illinois crashed Thursday night, leaving all three members on board hospitalized and pictures displaying a totally destroyed copter.
The crash befell at about 9 p.m. in Hartford, about half-hour north of St. Louis, NBC affiliate KDSK reported.
Based on posts from Hartford Police Division and medical helicopter firm Air Strategies, an ARCH Air Medical Service helicopter from Granite Metropolis was concerned an an “incident” as they had been departing from an area hearth station.
The three crew members on board had been transported to close by hospitals for analysis, authorities stated, and an investigation was underway.
Earlier within the day, the Hartford Hearth Division suggested residents to remember that it was internet hosting a coaching train for an ARCH Medical helicopter.
“Helicopters will be very harmful and this is among the causes for the coaching,” a publish concerning the train from the hearth division stated.
Photographs and video from the scene confirmed a mangled and crashed helicopter, with particles throughout the bottom, with emergency responders surrounding the realm.
No additional particulars or circumstances of crew members had been obtainable.
