Indiana man allegedly shot 5 folks, 2 fatally, at Hammond pub

HAMMOND, Ind. – Hammond police have arrested a suspect in reference to a capturing at Portside Pub on Sunday.

The capturing left two useless and three others significantly injured, with authorities charging the suspect with homicide and tried homicide.

At roughly 4:15 a.m. on Sunday, officers responded to stories of gunfire on the bar, situated at 1516 Indianapolis Boulevard. Upon arriving, police found two victims, Paul Olivares, 25, and Lorraine Reyna, 59, each of Whiting, who had been later pronounced useless.
