Greater than 100 flights have been canceled and almost 300 further flights have been delayed after a floor cease was issued at O’Hare Airport as a result of winter climate Friday morning.
The bottom cease was lifted at 9:15 a.m., in keeping with Federal Aviation Administration officers.
At O’Hare as of two:45 p.m., 119 flights had been canceled and at the very least 293 extra have been delayed, in keeping with Flightaware. At Halfway, 31 flights had been canceled and at the very least 38 have been delayed.
Common delays at each airports have been beneath 25 minutes, in keeping with FlyChicago.
The bottom cease will not be the primary issued at O’Hare this week. A floor cease was put in place by the FAA Monday morning as a result of slippery circumstances.
