Vigil held to recollect Chicago tow truck driver Hussain Farhat killed in hit-and-run crash on I-94 in Waukesha County, Wisconsin


BRIDGEVIEW, Sick. (WLS) — Family members gathered Thursday to recollect a Chicago tow truck driver was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Christmas Eve in Wisconsin.

The crash occurred round 6:41 p.m. Tuesday on the eastbound shoulder of I-94 east of Sawyer Street in Waukesha County, Wisconsin.

Farhat was loading a disabled car on the shoulder of I-94 when he was struck by a blue minivan that fled the scene after the crash, the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Division stated.

Farhat was taken to a neighborhood hospital, the place he was later pronounced useless. He labored for Yaffo Towing in Chicago, the sheriff stated.
