Travoccia W. Dillard, a 25-year-old Joliet man, is charged with Reckless Discharge of a Firearm in reference to the incident.

Joliet police responded to the 900-block of Ann Road round 1:30 p.m. for a report of somebody taking pictures a gun within the air, police stated. Residents within the space acquired a reverse 911 name to shelter in place.
Police stated one other Joliet resident, who was visiting somebody within the space, had been concerned in a social media dispute with Dillard.
Dillard allegedly took a gun out of his dwelling and fired a shot into the air earlier than heading again inside and altering his garments, police stated.
