9 companies focused in Highland Park housebreaking spree, police say

A wave of burglaries hit 9 companies throughout Highland Park early Friday, and police are working to trace down the culprits behind the crime spree.

Six companies in downtown Highland Park and three within the Crossroads Enterprise District alongside Skokie Valley Street have been affected, in response to police.

The primary incident occurred simply after 3 a.m. Friday. The automobile used within the burglaries was reported stolen and linked to a industrial housebreaking in Deerfield at 3:38 a.m., authorities stated.

  • Vacant area (600 Central Ave.)
